Mainstream Admissions Process

Our main admissions window for Junior Infants 2026 has now closed.

Applying Outside the Admissions Window

If you are reading this page outside of the main admissions window, please don’t worry. Applications are still welcome at any time and will be considered for:

  • Late applications
  • Families who are new to the area

Where places are available, we are happy to accept and process applications throughout the school year in line with our Admissions Policy. We recommend contacting the school directly if you have any questions or would like to discuss availability.

Admissions to Other Mainstream Classes

Enrolment for all other mainstream classes in Scoil Mhuire, i.e. Senior Infants – 6th Class can be submitted throughout the year. If you need any assistance with your application, please get in touch and we will be happy to help.

Autism Class Admissions

For 2026/2027 school year, Scoil Mhuire will participate in the D15 Autism Class Application Trial.

17 primary schools, and Danú special school are participating in the Dublin 15 Autism Class Application Trial. By completing one ONLINE application form and submitting it with relevant paperwork, you can apply to 18 schools.

This trial does not represent a common admissions policy. Scoil Mhuire maintains complete autonomy over our admission policy, criteria and oversubscription criteria. Please note that parental participation in this trial does not guarantee an autism class place for your child.
